Aberlour 11 year old

Bottled as a single cask release, this Aberlour is a classic example of great base spirit that has benefitted from the Claxton's maturation programme. Finished in a fresh Oloroso Sherry quarter cask, this Aberlour has masses of red fruit, cherries and vanilla on the nose and the finish. 

Nose: Red apple skin. Maraschino cherries. Jam doughnut. Vanilla.

Palate: Masses of fruit, strudel, hints of oak and grape skin.

Finish: Long sweet finish with lots of redcurrant in the aftertaste.
