Bartels Longmorn 17 year old

Aged Longmorn is a firm favourite at Claxton's, so when the chance came to stock some of this Longmorn from Bartels Whisky, we jumped at the chance. Taken from a Bourbon barrel, this 17 year old Longmorn has all of the light, vanilla and honey notes you would expect but with added soft fruits. 

Nose: Rich vanilla and honey, with hints of toffee and caramelized sugar

Palate: Juicy apricots, baked apples, and hints of lemon zest

Finish: Slightly dry but leaving a pleasant warmth

Distilled: 2007
