"Heavily Peated" Holyrood Distillery 3 year old

Distilled in 2021 and bottled in 2025, this Heavily Peated Holyrood has only just turned 3 years old but is excellent for its age. The second fill sherry octave used for the final year of maturation has imparted interesting flavours and has created a great dram. 

Nose: Caramel. Rich malt. Fudge. Vanilla ice-cream.

Palate: Sweet with a hint of smoke, aniseed and vanilla.

Finish: Lovely finish with a sweet smoke and sweety-finish.
