Produced at one of the larger Scottish distilleries, Tormore distillery produces around 5 million litres of Scotch per year. This latest release from the Claxton's Exploration Series is a single cask bottling which has been matured in a tawny port barrique.
Nose: Spiced rum with sweet oak, coco and candy-floss.
Palate: Rich oak and vanilla. Apricot jam and Danish pastry.
Finish: Fruit-laden, dessert finish with a sweet-spice aftertaste.
